With Paris Fashion Week taking place right now, a new variation of the Sacai x Nike LDWaffle debuted on the runway as part of fashion designer Chitose Abe's Spring 2020 men's collection.
As a refresher, the LDWaffle is a mashup of the classic Waffle Daybreak and LDV runners, with overlapping Swoosh branding on the sides, mudguards, and tongue. Unlike its predecessor, the latest version opts for a nylon upper instead of mesh, while the traditional flat laces have also been replaced with a ribbon-styled flat lace on top of a waxy round pair. Capping off the look is a double-stacked midsole.
As of now, an official release date for the forthcoming Sacai x Nike LDWaffle has yet to be announced by Nike. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates.
