A "Static" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has been pegged for a holiday release for quite some time, but it turns out there could be another factor at play for this launch.
According to Yeezy Mafia, there are actually two different "Static" Yeezys on the way; the previously seen translucent stripe iteration and another reflective variation. While images of a reflective "Static" Yeezy Boost 350 V2 have popped up in recent months, this is the first piece of info suggesting that there are two different pairs.
Furthermore, the reflective "Static" colorway will reportedly be far harder to come by than the standard style. Yeezy Mafia indicates that just 5,000 pairs of the reflective Yeezy will be released worldwide.
An exact date for both "Static" Yeezys has yet to be announced.
UPDATE (12/21): The reflective version of the "Static" Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 will be a Yeezy Supply exclusive. The pair is scheduled to release on Dec. 26, and is rumored to be limited to only 5,000 pairs total.
