Last week, Nike celebrated the one-year anniversary of Europe's SNEAKRS app by giving shoppers a second chance at a ton of rare shoes. The restocks included Sean Wotherspoon's Air Max 1/97, several styles from Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" collection, and more.

But for Reddit user Abrar Lone, what started off as elation over scoring the Air Max 1/97 was quickly soured as days passed without shipping updates. "I contacted Nike, and then they said they are looking through all of their UK warehouses to see if they have stock, and will get back ot me within 24 hours," Lone told Sole Collector.

After those 24 hours had passed, Lone says he reached out to Nike again, and that's when he was informed that he'd soon be receiving an email that the brand was unable to track down the Sean Wotherspoon shoes in his size. As a consolation, customer service offered up the white colorway of Abloh's Off-White x Nike Air Presto—a comparatively coveted sneaker.

While this level of resolution is an isolated case—shoppers are more often than not left empty-handed when product is oversold—it's positive to see Nike to go to these lengths to keep a customer satisfied.
