Drake recently posted a photo to his official Instagram account of an OVO-branded Nike basketball jersey. While nothing is official, this could be an upcoming collaboration with Nike.

Since dropping his double album Scorpion last month, Drake is on a pretty serious winning streak. The project has been met with mostly positive reviews and with the added boost of a viral dance challenge from Instagram comedian Shiggy, the cut "In My Feelings" has put another number-one hit on his resume. Musically, Drake is living his best life right now, but something that still has yet to be confirmed is the current status of his sneaker endorsement deal.

Tuesday morning, Drizzy took to Instagram to show off an OVO basketball jersey that may cause even more confusion. The photo displays a navy blue and white Nike jersey with a scorpion-style OVO logo across the chest. While the first reaction for many fans might simply be that the jersey is a piece of merch, the Swoosh on the right shoulder contradicts reports that the rapper would be signing to Adidas.

The "God's Plan" rapper's previous deal with Jordan Brand expired (as evident by the slight changes made to the "Raptors" Air Jordan 4) and he has since been engaged with talks to join team Adidas. However, as of late, he's regularly been spotted wearing Nike following a period of Adidas sightings

It is not exactly clear what the 6 God posting this jersey means regarding his endorsement status. Sole Collector has confirmed that the the jersey in question was produced by Nike in limited quantities for Drake. While that doesn't necessarily imply which brand he'll sign with, it does keeps the speculation alive.

UPDATE (08/03): The Drake/Nike references keep coming this week with the latest update coming on Travis Scott's Astroworld album. Joining Juicy J and Swae Lee on the album's third track, "Sicko Mode," Drake drops what could be one of the most explicit mentions yet about the deal.

"Jesus Christ, checks over stripes, that's what I like," Drake raps, seemingly leaving no question over his allegiances. While the lyrics alone don't outright confirm a new deal with Nike or Jordan Brand, the evidence continues to pile up.

And that wasn't the night's only Swoosh shout-out. Drake also released the official video for "In My Feelings," where he's spotted in a pair of "Fire Red" Air Jordan 5s.
